Dear [Recipients Name],

I am hoping that you will be enjoying the Jenna Center for the Art colorful calendar that we had sent you some days ago. This calendar also lists all the coming events for the next session and contains many coupons for almost all the businesses in this area. We sent you the calendar as a vote of thanks to our many buddies and contributors like you who have always helped us in supporting this kind of beautiful range of cultural shows that we have been making for the public.

We also work to keep the admission rates for singers, plays, concerts, and drama as little to encourage all the people to come out and watch what we offer for pure entertainment. Apart from this, what we charge does not cover the maintenance expenses of heating, lighting, programs, cleaning, printing, etc. Hiring the quality musicians and entertainers also creates additional costs.

American Players' performances of "The Midwinter's Group" last month had tremendous success, and we had an audience more than our seating capacity. But, the charges of such a nationally recognized group of American actors, along with the maintenance cost, has created the first real deficit. And so we are quite happy while telling you about a new and incredible boost to our yearly Jenna Center for the Art Fundraising campaign.

We have also been suggested a way double every gift that is given to us. Several companies in our area have joined their resources to create an Arts Fund to support all the major cultural events in the area. They have suggested us that they can match, a dollar-for-a dollar, each contribution that will be sent to us this year for the fund drive. Therefore, we would also like to ask if you can repeat the $75 gift you sent us previous year, which can contribute to a total sum of $150 to us. If possible, kindly send your check by May 29, so that we would be able to make a plan for our winter program without any tension about the finances again.

We also want to give you a vote of thanks for your little support, and we hope that you know, being a star member of the Jenna Centers for the Art, you are just not only qualified to an annual calendar but also a 55% off on all upcoming new performances. Attached is your admission letter, which gives you a 55% relaxation in ticket cost for all the events next year. Also attached is an envelope for you so that you can send us your valuable contribution so make out your check to the "Jenna Center for the Art" today?

We thank you again for your contribution to promoting and uplifting the growth of such entertainment in the region.

If you cannot send us $75 now, please send us, at least, $50. You can always use your provision card, giving you to a 55% off on all the tickets to all coming up events.

Sincerely,

Further things to consider when writing fundraising letters to donors

Further things to consider when writing fundraising letters to donors

Fundraising Letters

Fundraising letters are letters written to seek financial support for a cause, charity, or other enterprises. Such letters are often geared towards non-profit organizations and churches that are looking for contributions. Fundraising letters should be sent early enough in advance of the event so that the recipient can have enough time to respond to your request. If you know someone who knows the donor personally, include their names or have them sign the letters as making a personal contact may sometimes secure a donation.

Although sending out fundraising letters may seem old-fashioned, if crafted correctly, these letters can be extremely effective. Grab the recipient's attention from the start. Use the recipient's name so that he/she can know that the letter was intended for him/her, and not just some supporter. If he/she has made another donation in the past, thank him/her for it before asking again. Mention what the donation is intended for. Where appropriate, mention some of the past achievements of your organization. Explain the urgent need for the donation and how the recipient can help contribute to it. Tell the recipient how important he/she is to the cause. End by thanking the recipient in advance for his/her support.

Letters to Donors

Letters to donors are letters written to people who have donated something, especially money, voluntarily to a fund or charity. Usually, these are fundraising letters to invite donors to fundraisers or thank-you letters to express gratitude and appreciation for donations. Whatever the reason for your letter, writing to donors maintains a great relationship and can help you secure future funding. This simple gesture shows them that you can be trusted and that you are doing something that is of benefit to the community. It also shows the donors that your cause is worthy of their money and time.

When writing letters to donors, it is important to know the exact message you want to convey. Most letters to donors can be tricky to write, especially those asking for donations. You don't want to write something that the recipient will give a cursory glance and carry to the trash! Grab the recipient's attention from the start. For fundraising letters, clearly state how the donation will be used. If you are writing to thank the recipient for a donation, let him/her know how the donation helped. Be brief and straightforward. End the letter on a positive tone.
