Dear [Recipients Name],

I hope that all is well with you. I hope that your department is doing great now.

Thank you for writing that referral for Ms. Anais Roth. I have been busy with a project, and I appreciate your helping one of my former writers. I was able to speak to her yesterday, and I am happy to report that she was offered the copy-editor job at MTC Magazine.

Again, I appreciate your help very much. If you ever need my assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to ask. Have a great week ahead!

Sincerely,
