Dear [Recipients Name],

My dearest Anna, I shall be upfront with this and tell you that I am writing to you now because I need a little favor from you. Would you be so kind as to show my niece Sally around when she moves to St. George? She is fresh out of the University and is currently striking out to "learn how to be independent" as she says. She is quite young and zealous, and to be honest; I am anxious to be apart from her for the first time in a long time. Knowing that you will be there to help her would ease my worries considerably. Would you be able to spare some time to meet up with her in two weeks? I would be very grateful if you would.

Best wishes to you, my friend and I am looking forward to your reply.

Sincerely,

Further things to consider when writing introduction letters to friends

Introduction Letters

Introduction letters are letters written to establish contact, outline new products or services or request information. Such letters are used in business communications. They can be to introduce a connection to people you already know or to people you have never met. The primary objective of introduction letters is to introduce yourself, your business, or another person to another party. In any scenario, introduction letters should be readable, concise, and effective in delivering the information you want. Introduction letters are a great networking tool and an effective way to get what you want from people you have not met physically.

One of the most important tips to remember when writing introduction letters is to keep them brief and to the point. First, state who you are and your role, and where necessary, mention how you got the recipient's name. Then, briefly explain the purpose of your letter and what you hope to accomplish - be as clear as you can. Include any other details that you think could be helpful. Establish a personal connection and an appropriate tone of the letter. Conclude with a brief description of how the recipient can get in touch with you.

Letters to Friends

Letters to friends are letters you write to people with whom you have a bond of mutual affection. These letters are like conversations and can be just about anything. They could be thank-you letters to thank your friends, congratulation letters to congratulate them, apology letters to say sorry, condolence letters to comfort the bereaved, etc. You could also write to your friends to share general information such as school and family news, what has been happening in your town, or just tell funny stories. Letters are special and show the other person that you are thinking about him/her. The recipient can keep the letters for years and read them over and over again.

Letters to friends are personal and are usually addressed to specific individuals. Since the recipient is a person with whom you have a close relationship, the salutation is more personal and less formal. Greet the recipient warmly and proceed to stating the reason for your letter. Share some information about yourself. Maintain a polite and friendly tone. End your letter on a note of anticipation to seeing the recipient soon or reading from him/her. You can also add a postscript for something you forgot to say.
