GUIDELINES

  1. A letter of appreciation from someone whom you asked a favor to, shows that you are genuinely thankful for his or her actions. This kind of letter strengthens relationships. It can be short, as long as it is sincere.
  2. Tell the reader that you appreciate the favor asked.
  3. Explain that the favor was helpful on your side and your organization. 3. Close with a statement that anticipates a good, continuing relationship."
  4. End the letter with a positive remark, in order for your relationship not to end.
